Space is a premium in my house and this little guy fits behind my entertainment center in a corner out of the way.
Powerful, rich sounding, the down shooting bass reflects very well and fills the room. Requires a plug in nearby and if you "hide" it like I did you have to preset the volume level for the relative amount of bass you like. (I set it mid way and it is fine)

I have a pair of Bose Mediamate desktop speakers which are over 5 yrs old and still sound as great as when I first got it, but now that I added this subwoofer, it feels as though my music has come to life. The base that comes out of these is floor-shaking. Don't get me wrong, the bose speakers alone have enough bass to almost drown out the subwoofer if I have the sub volume too low. I have to turn up the sub volume a bit to at least hear the difference. All in all, for $99, this is a steal. It's great for any home theater setup and is a great add-on for anyone who only has desktop speakers and feel they need the extra bass on their pc.

Love the sound from this woofer . I purchased this around 2 weeks ago and Amazon got it to me fast ! This is great for the home surround sound and the bass sound is excellent by giving enough bass but yet it wont rattle the windows . It also has the volume control button on the back of woofer and also the on and off switch is on the back which is convient if you have little ones around the house . Nice woofer for the money .

This is a decent subwoofer for an starter home theater system. I got this for 99 bucks and free shipping so it was a good deal. The bass levels are pretty good but it is not very loud. It is ideal for smaller and medium sized rooms. Overall, it is a good subwoofer and worth the price.

Just what I needed Jan 14, 2008
I researched online about an hour to decide to get this subwoofer. All I can say is what my wife said when I was playing with this new toy and she was in the living room, (the stereo/subby are in a different room next to the living)I turned off the sub and asked her to pay attention, then turned it on, and asked her if she noticed any difference, her response: "it has a richer sound." The rooms in my apartmet are about 15 by 15 ft. This sub works perfect and you can adjust the level of bass you want. Easy to use. Good deal.

Consumer Reports Says Buy Your HDTV at Amazon!
Washington, D.C. (October 31, 2008) -- When it comes to price, Consumer Reports says shoppers are most likely to find the best deals online. And the publication called three ecommerce sites "standouts" in this year's Consumer Reports ratings of electronics stores: Amazon.com, Crutchfield.com and B&H (bhphotovideo.com)
The magazine's survey was based on more than 38,000 purchases of electronics, including flat-screen TVs, between January 2007 and June 2008. The report indicated that online stores consistently offered better prices. (The magazine's full report can be found in its December 2008 issue.)
"Buying online can be better," the magazine said in a press release. "The higher-rated electronics retailers in Consumer Reports annual reader survey are Web sites. Readers who bought online rated their overall satisfaction at 90 out of 100 -- higher than those who bought in a store. Additionally, many Web merchants offer free shipping, even on TVs, which could spare the hassle of struggling to fit a bulky carton in the car or paying a local store for delivery."
Consumer Reports said that while no single retailer scored excellent in all shopping categories, Amazon.com and Crutchfield.com came closest.
