Usually ships in 1-2 business days | | | | | | Once again, Sharp, the leader in LCD technology, has established a new design standard for LCD TVs. The new LC32D64U AQUOS raises the bar by fitting a large screen size into a incredibly small footprint. By changing the layout of circuits inside the LCD panel and by cutting the number of parts, Sharp's engineers were able to reduce the depth by 30%, allowing placement of the LC32D64U model in virtually any type setting. The LC32D64U utilizes Sharp’s proprietary Advanced Super View/Black TFT Panel with multi-pixel technology, providing 10,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio with Enhanced Picture Contrast Technology and 6ms response time. The LC32D64U is a HDTV with built-in ATSC / QAM / NTSC tuners and include 2 HDMI inputs, compatible with 1080p signals, a PC input and 2 HD component video inputs. Side terminals are included for convenience as well as RS-232C input for control. The LC32D64U features a sleek piano black cabinet with subtle, recessed bottom-mounted speakers. Features: 1) Full HD 1080p (1920 x 1080) Resolution for the sharpest picture possible. 2) 10,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio and 6ms response time produce spectacular picture quality. 3) Two HDMI Inputs and dual component for the ultimate in terminal flexibility. All inputs are compatible with 1080p sources. 4) Wide Viewing Angles (176°H x 176°W) Sharp's AQUOS viewing angles are so wide, you can view the TV clearly from practically anywhere in the room. 5) Enhanced Black Level provides the deepest, most accurate black of any flat panel TV. 6) High Brightness (450 cd/m2) AQUOS LCD Televisions are very bright. You can put them virtually anywhere – even near windows, doors or other light sources – and the picture is still vivid. 7) Built-in ATSC / QAM / NTSC Tuners provide access to DTV and analog TV channels. 8) AQUOS engine with ASV technology provides high performance video processing for the brightest, most vivid colors and images. | | | |

Tv Jul 19, 2010 This was a great buy i'm very happy with this tv. The picture quality is awesome. Blu rays look amazing on this tv even though its only a 32 inch. Its a great buy for something in your bedroom or something like that

Died after 1 year Jan 15, 2010 I've had the TV almost a year to the day. And it died today. For anybody thinking of buying this, please search for "Sharp Aquos OPC light blinking" on google. We've had the problem for a while, but you could always resolve it by unplugging the TV, waiting a second, and then plugging it back in. Now, nothing works.
Am horribly disappointed in this product.
wonderful hd picture Sep 08, 2009 I had reviewed several brands and decided to order a Sharp Aquos. I am pleased to say it has met my expectations. The first one I received was damaged but the company quickly replaced it with another that wasn't. I am satisfied.

Good TV, But I wish I knew more before I bought it. Jul 28, 2009 First off the transaction was almost perfect. Had a scare when the TV didn't show up on time, but that was due to a major T-Storm moving through the area.
TV was easy to install, lighter (weight) than I thought it would be, worked great right out of the box. The primary use is for my PS3, gaming and Blu Ray DVDs using a HDMI 1.3 Cat 2 cable from [...].
ISSUE: I also have my PC hooked up to the TV (DVI to HDMI cable), I was surprised at how low the resolution is on the TV. It's not 800 X 600 bad but its around 1200 X 1000, I haven't quite pegged the exact resolution. The bigger problem is the RCA jacks to get the computer's sound through the TV. They don't work at all. Did a google search and this is a reoccurring problem with SHARP TVs. The only way to get PC sound would be to by a sound system.
Bottom line: Audio wiring BAD, Rest of the TV GOOD.

The worst user interface I've ever seen Jul 15, 2009 I own one of these. It has THE WORST user interface I've ever seen on a TV. Glaring flaw #1: no way of manually switching between 4:3 and 16:9. If you're connecting it directly to cable (as opposed to connecting through a box), it gets a lot worse. The automatic channel scan apparently fails to discriminate channels on which there are video & audio signals from those on which there are none. This leaves the user with the option of either clicking through literally hundreds of channels with nothing on them, memorizing the channel numbers of what you want to watch (e.g., 108.31), or spending 30-45 minutes -- I'm not exaggerating -- designating channels to be skipped, a procedure that is far more arduous than it should for be for digital channels because of the kludgey menus. Strangely, the channel skip procedure is significantly easier for analog chennels. It's baffling that the manufacturer didn't make it the same for both categories of channels. If you only use the TV as a monitor, the kludge interface is less of a problem, because you won't have to deal with it as much.

Consumer Reports Says Buy Your HDTV at Amazon!
Washington, D.C. (October 31, 2008) -- When it comes to price, Consumer Reports says shoppers are most likely to find the best deals online. And the publication called three ecommerce sites "standouts" in this year's Consumer Reports ratings of electronics stores: Amazon.com, Crutchfield.com and B&H (bhphotovideo.com)
The magazine's survey was based on more than 38,000 purchases of electronics, including flat-screen TVs, between January 2007 and June 2008. The report indicated that online stores consistently offered better prices. (The magazine's full report can be found in its December 2008 issue.)
"Buying online can be better," the magazine said in a press release. "The higher-rated electronics retailers in Consumer Reports annual reader survey are Web sites. Readers who bought online rated their overall satisfaction at 90 out of 100 -- higher than those who bought in a store. Additionally, many Web merchants offer free shipping, even on TVs, which could spare the hassle of struggling to fit a bulky carton in the car or paying a local store for delivery."
Consumer Reports said that while no single retailer scored excellent in all shopping categories, Amazon.com and Crutchfield.com came closest.
