Great tv for the dollars May 14, 2010 Samsung is on the right path this tv has a fantastic picture and the auto motion amp(120hz) really helps clean up some channels pics that aren't as good as others. Clean look, quality product!
Big problem Mar 07, 2010 I had to call samsung to fix a problem with the picture .. because I got my tv with a big problem with it ... i didn't enjoy watching my tv .. samsung had to change my screen panel .
Love it!! Feb 25, 2010 I have had this tv for a year now and it is still perfect. I have a samsung blu ray hooked to it and it is like being in a movie theater. I also hooked up my lap top with my wireless keyboard and mouse and now I can stream netflix, this is just awesome!!
Incredible Picture Quality Feb 24, 2010 I've had this TV for a year and cannot complain about anything as far as the picture quality is concerned. It is incredible. The dynamic adjustments to the contrast are seamless. I also have a Samsung Blu-Ray player so I take advantage of the AnyNet technology. Using HDMI connections makes a big difference over the Component Video -- the detail is outstanding. The 120 hz motion can sometimes be too much at the high settings (I keep it low) since it tends to show you movement you don't see with the naked eye. (It can make you a little dizzy so I cannot imagine why anyone would want or need the newer 240 hz technology). Even old black & white movies are beautiful on this TV. I also have connect a PC via the DVI and a laptop with HDMI with extremely good results. There are no dead pixels anywhere.
The sound is good considering the size of the built-speakers but I run it through a Yamaha 5.1 channel AV receiver which of course, makes it more than realistic clarity.
Not too many complaints here --- I wish the remote control was programmable but its not (neither is the remote for the Blu-Ray). For wireless LAN, you have to use the Samsung adapter which is no longer available but the Ethernet is fine. Since I have the wireless adapter for the Blu-Ray, I can get most web content from it rather than the TV.
And oh, yes, I bought a re-certified set which saved me a bunch.

Consumer Reports Says Buy Your HDTV at Amazon!
Washington, D.C. (October 31, 2008) -- When it comes to price, Consumer Reports says shoppers are most likely to find the best deals online. And the publication called three ecommerce sites "standouts" in this year's Consumer Reports ratings of electronics stores: Amazon.com, Crutchfield.com and B&H (bhphotovideo.com)
The magazine's survey was based on more than 38,000 purchases of electronics, including flat-screen TVs, between January 2007 and June 2008. The report indicated that online stores consistently offered better prices. (The magazine's full report can be found in its December 2008 issue.)
"Buying online can be better," the magazine said in a press release. "The higher-rated electronics retailers in Consumer Reports annual reader survey are Web sites. Readers who bought online rated their overall satisfaction at 90 out of 100 -- higher than those who bought in a store. Additionally, many Web merchants offer free shipping, even on TVs, which could spare the hassle of struggling to fit a bulky carton in the car or paying a local store for delivery."
Consumer Reports said that while no single retailer scored excellent in all shopping categories, Amazon.com and Crutchfield.com came closest.
