 Review - Polk Audio RM6752 Center Channel Speaker Jan 06, 2009
The Polk Audio RM6752 Center Speaker I ordered was exactly as described in WholeSaleAV's advertisement. For use as a center speaker for a large screen TV and 5 speaker surround sound system for those of us that are not high end audiophiles, this is an outstanding buy that functions as specified. It was well packaged therefore delivered intact and much quicker than I had expected.
 Small Sound from a Small Speaker Nov 22, 2008
Due to the purchase of a new LCD TV and stand, I had to replace my center speaker with one that would fit under the TV, a space about 5" tall. The rest of my surround speakers are Polk, so I chose the 4" tall Polk RM6752 center speaker. Unfortunately, the sound from this speaker is very tinny when compared to CS300 it replaced. After a month, I've become used to the difference in sound quality, but I know I've compromised. And, for the $75 price tag, I paid a premium for the privilege.

Having a nice heft to it, this speaker provides a balanced center sound making any home theater complete.

Good little speaker and great if space is tight. May not be right for a large room but wooks great for most locations.
Inexpensive Center Channel Speaker Apr 19, 2008
The Polk RM6752 Center Channel Speaker is a good, inexpensive alternative to higher priced Polk units. I combined this unit with Polk bookshelf speakers that recommended a much more expensive center channel unit. In a room of modest size (12 x 15) it provides more than adequate sound with a 100 watt per channel receiver. The addition of the center channel increases the clarity of speech on tv and dvd's significantly. It also allows the left and right speakers to expand the sound stage to provide more three dimensional sound.
The unit is well built and small enough to fit almost anywhere. It is not large enough to rest the TV on it, however.

Washington, D.C. (October 31, 2008) -- When it comes to price, Consumer Reports says shoppers are most likely to find the best deals online. And the publication called three ecommerce sites "standouts" in this year's Consumer Reports ratings of electronics stores: Amazon.com, Crutchfield.com and B&H (bhphotovideo.com)
The magazine's survey was based on more than 38,000 purchases of electronics, including flat-screen TVs, between January 2007 and June 2008. The report indicated that online stores consistently offered better prices. (The magazine's full report can be found in its December 2008 issue.)
"Buying online can be better," the magazine said in a press release. "The higher-rated electronics retailers in Consumer Reports annual reader survey are Web sites. Readers who bought online rated their overall satisfaction at 90 out of 100 -- higher than those who bought in a store. Additionally, many Web merchants offer free shipping, even on TVs, which could spare the hassle of struggling to fit a bulky carton in the car or paying a local store for delivery."
Consumer Reports said that while no single retailer scored excellent in all shopping categories, Amazon.com and Crutchfield.com came closest.
