WIth bluray and Netflix movies, this tv is superb. I like the sound and the picture quality of huge screen. The tv is very sleek. The menus are well designed, easy to use and remote is great.

I gave it four stars because yes, the picture quality is not as stunning as my top-of-the-line Samsung... but my Samsung was also twice as much. It still produces a very sharp picture, and bright enough not to be noticeably dim as others have said - it looks great. Thing about this TV, play with the color settings a bit (look on [...]) and you can get a great picture for this incredible price. I made some tweaks and made it brighter, and made the colors "pop" a little more, especially the blacks (contrast ratio).
I have this in my living room, and my friend saw it and bought one too. Both of us are VERY pleased with no regrets... over six months in now.
I also knocked off a star for appearance because the plastic bezel around the outside is a bit wavey, making it appear on the cheap side. Not a big deal, just another reason why this TV is so flippin cheap.

Wonderful picture. All who have seen it have been very impressed. 1080i looks great. Want to get a blu-ray player so I can see what 1080p looks like. You will definitely want help if you plan to wall mount. Beast is incredibly heavy. I was able to find a mount for tvs up to 70 inches and 220 pounds. Since this set is 110 pounds it should be very secure. I was able to catch 3 wall studs, but two would have been enough.

For the price and size of this large monitor, you cannot find a better price for the awesome features afforded to this LG 60PS60 Plasma TV... 60" of pure viewing pleasure. The only minus that I can see is glare on the screen from background lights, but it is awesome theater watching screen at night in low light condition, which is the majority of our viewing! So keep that in mind if you plan on using it in a bright lite area! Other than the glare, this is the best TV that I have seen, especially for the price and the refresh rate is unreal... awesome! Good Job LG.

I purchased a 60" LG plasma direct from Amazon and have never looked back. TV was delivered promptly and we really love the look of the TV and the quality of the picture. We have it set up in a basement theater setting with lttle outside light so plasma was a good choice for our use. TV is very easy to use and basically plug in and play. Also noted was what a great value the TV was. In addition, I purchased an inexpensive Sony reciever through Amazon that works great as well. No need in my opinion to spend a lot of money on a reciever but spend a little more on speakers. Good speakers do make a difference.

Consumer Reports Says Buy Your HDTV at Amazon!
Washington, D.C. (October 31, 2008) -- When it comes to price, Consumer Reports says shoppers are most likely to find the best deals online. And the publication called three ecommerce sites "standouts" in this year's Consumer Reports ratings of electronics stores: Amazon.com, Crutchfield.com and B&H (bhphotovideo.com)
The magazine's survey was based on more than 38,000 purchases of electronics, including flat-screen TVs, between January 2007 and June 2008. The report indicated that online stores consistently offered better prices. (The magazine's full report can be found in its December 2008 issue.)
"Buying online can be better," the magazine said in a press release. "The higher-rated electronics retailers in Consumer Reports annual reader survey are Web sites. Readers who bought online rated their overall satisfaction at 90 out of 100 -- higher than those who bought in a store. Additionally, many Web merchants offer free shipping, even on TVs, which could spare the hassle of struggling to fit a bulky carton in the car or paying a local store for delivery."
Consumer Reports said that while no single retailer scored excellent in all shopping categories, Amazon.com and Crutchfield.com came closest.
