The system features four identical satellites, a matching horizontal center speaker, and a powerful 125-watt subwoofer. The satellites feature JBL's advanced titanium-laminate-dome tweeters and 3-1/2" drivers for unsurpassed power and realism. The voice-matched center channel speaker uses components that are identical to those used in the satellites for seamlesspans, with two midranges for extra power and clarity in the dialogue channel. The attractive contemporary design of the system and its black high-gloss finish will complement any flat-panel television and decor of any room. Wall brackets are included for the satellites and center channel.

Be Careful of Price Oct 24, 2008
I purchased this set on October 7th for 336.99. If the price is now higher be careful because Amazon no longer has a 30 day price protection policy. It is a very nice set and we love it but you might want to wait for the best price. It could be alot cheaper a day later and your stuck with the price you paid!

Deep, rich bass and works well with a Yamaha A/V, and 46" LCD. Jul 25, 2008
Nice stylish glossy black, connects well with 16-gauge wire and Monster connection plugs/pins. Deep bass and solid sound from subwoofer and satellites, nice stands with ball-and-socket connections. Works well with a Yamaha HTR-6160 A/V Receiver, and a Samsung LN46A750 LCD HDTV.
Albeit a high-quality set of speakers, I still have to wonder if these still lack support for the highest-end methods of decoding from A/V receivers, namely DTS-HD MA and TrueHD Dolby, even though the Yamaha receiver I own does decode those. I have yet to test out those features when it comes to watching some Blu-ray movies via my PS3. I will let you know how audio performance goes with Blu-ray over the weekend.

Great sounding speakers! May 25, 2008
I bought these speakers for my living room in a townhome. They are great sounding speakers providing more than enough bass. Watching blu-ray movies with lossless audio via my PS3 is awesome. Sometimes I have to turn down the sound because I think my neighbors can feel the bass. These speakers are a nice choice for someone that wants to enjoy surround sound without breaking the bank.

Washington, D.C. (October 31, 2008) -- When it comes to price, Consumer Reports says shoppers are most likely to find the best deals online. And the publication called three ecommerce sites "standouts" in this year's Consumer Reports ratings of electronics stores: Amazon.com, Crutchfield.com and B&H (bhphotovideo.com)
The magazine's survey was based on more than 38,000 purchases of electronics, including flat-screen TVs, between January 2007 and June 2008. The report indicated that online stores consistently offered better prices. (The magazine's full report can be found in its December 2008 issue.)
"Buying online can be better," the magazine said in a press release. "The higher-rated electronics retailers in Consumer Reports annual reader survey are Web sites. Readers who bought online rated their overall satisfaction at 90 out of 100 -- higher than those who bought in a store. Additionally, many Web merchants offer free shipping, even on TVs, which could spare the hassle of struggling to fit a bulky carton in the car or paying a local store for delivery."
Consumer Reports said that while no single retailer scored excellent in all shopping categories, Amazon.com and Crutchfield.com came closest.
