sleek, seamless, powerful clean sound Sep 23, 2009
This Bose system is simply awesome. Easy connection and the sound switches from my TV to music with the press of a button. Such small speakers with super big sound gets a party started in minutes. Though a bit pricey its small size and big sound was what I wanted for my space. The ability to hook-up speakers in my bedroom deck etc. and to listen to different music in different areas is spectacular. Music storage and playback features whoa, I'm a child with a toy with this system. Simply lovely.

Makes beautiful music Feb 12, 2009
Bose haters before you bash me, I am sure you can't afford this. If I announce in my neighborhood that I am selling this for $1000, I might end up getting a line longer than those of Vegas Employment centers. LOL
Excellent sound coming from aestethically most beautiful jewel cubes.NO other small speakers come close. All the people that came into my mansion can't believe the sound is coming from the tiny speakers. It's sure is amazing, they say.
My other system is a Pioneer Elite Sc-09 TX hooked up to a set of Definitives Mythos STS SuperTower and def tech satelites. They don't compare at all in terms of form and display/beauty . Sound is just about even.
LIfestyle is the way to go. Besides , I could load all my cd collections. Magically !!!

Consumer Reports Says Buy Your HDTV at Amazon!
Washington, D.C. (October 31, 2008) -- When it comes to price, Consumer Reports says shoppers are most likely to find the best deals online. And the publication called three ecommerce sites "standouts" in this year's Consumer Reports ratings of electronics stores: Amazon.com, Crutchfield.com and B&H (bhphotovideo.com)
The magazine's survey was based on more than 38,000 purchases of electronics, including flat-screen TVs, between January 2007 and June 2008. The report indicated that online stores consistently offered better prices. (The magazine's full report can be found in its December 2008 issue.)
"Buying online can be better," the magazine said in a press release. "The higher-rated electronics retailers in Consumer Reports annual reader survey are Web sites. Readers who bought online rated their overall satisfaction at 90 out of 100 -- higher than those who bought in a store. Additionally, many Web merchants offer free shipping, even on TVs, which could spare the hassle of struggling to fit a bulky carton in the car or paying a local store for delivery."
Consumer Reports said that while no single retailer scored excellent in all shopping categories, Amazon.com and Crutchfield.com came closest.
